Support through pregnancy, birth and motherhood

You don't need to be at breaking point to ask for support.

Pregnancy, birth and early motherhood can hold so much at once; love and grief, joy and fear, connection and loneliness, confidence and doubt, gratitude and overwhelm, becoming and letting go, and everything in between. Whether you're trying to make sense of a difficult birth, struggling with the transition into motherhood, or simply needing somewhere to put everything you've been carrying, there are different ways we can work together.

Not sure what you need? Explore below or book an appointment and we'll work it out together.

Making sense of what happened

Birth debriefing

Sometimes what is needed first isn't advice or a diagnosis, it's space to understand what happened. A birth debrief is an opportunity to talk through your experience, explore the parts that have stayed with you, make sense of your emotional responses and identify whether further support is required.

This may be appropriate if you:
Keep thinking about your birth · Feel angry, confused, dismissed or betrayed · Have unanswered questions · Struggle when people talk about birth · Feel disconnected from the version of events others describe · Were told "at least the baby is healthy" but still don't feel okay · Simply want somewhere safe to tell the whole story

A gentle note: a psychological birth debrief is not the same as a medical review of your birth. Questions about clinical decision-making or obstetric procedures may require discussion with your maternity service or treating medical team.

What to expect in your first appointment

We slow things down

What brought you in, what life looks like, what you'd like support with. No expectation to tell your whole story — you're in control of what you share.

We work collaboratively

Goals that are meaningful, realistic and relevant to your life. The approach is tailored to you — not the other way around.

At your pace

A few sessions or longer-term support — reviewed together. Telehealth offers flexibility when leaving the house with a baby is an achievement in itself.

Most importantly you do not need to arrive knowing exactly what is "wrong", what you need, or where to start. We can work that out together.
